Our client had a door that had a traditional opener installed, which opened at a height that did not leave enough room for his vehicle’s back door to open. We removed the old opener, since there was not enough room for it to fit above the door, and installed two side openers. The top one is directly connected to the torsion bar, and the bottom opener is connected to the torsion bar by a custom made chain and two sprockets. The customer was very pleased with the adjustments, as both doors now open at the same height and as efficiently as possible considering the small amount of room that was available to work with at the start.
